Yeah for even better news

We are going to be heading home in just a little bit. I know we will all be glad when that happens.

Yeah for good news

So there was some inflammation where the esophagus connects to the stomach. Which caused the bleeding. But no major blood vessels. Where it connects to the intestines is fine. The lower pictures. They will treat with acid reflux medication which should take care of everything. she is doing fine, and waking up after anesthesia. Should go home Saturday. We will decrease some of her other meds, as that is usually what causes her to throw up in the first place. So if we can
stop that then should be fine. Yeah for good news.

Eden is Inpatient

So this morning as I was getting ready for the day I heard the all to familiar sound of Eden throwing up except when I turned around to check on her instead of just the normal stuff there was bright red blood in her vomit. Not a good sign at all. So here we are up at Primary Children's waiting for them to do an upper GI scope to see what is going on. So now she is hungry and tired but we can't feed her until after her scope and then I am sure she won't feel much like eating. At least she hasn't thrown up any more blood.

Where's Douglas?

So I was sitting on the couch watching a show with the boys when Ethan looks over at me and asks, "Mom where's Douglas?" Funny kid. I guess Daddy is now Douglas.

Seth Houdini

So we woke up last night to hear Seth crying on the monitor. Doug went in to see what was wrong and somehow he had managed to twist his pajamas around so that the zipper was in the back. And he was upset because his zipper "disappered." Well Doug in his tough love manner left him that way. A little while later we heard him crying again. This time Doug went in to find that he had turned his pajamas back around but his leg was still twisted up. How he did it? No one knows.
