Frustrated...Now the soonest they can schedule the transplant is Nov. 10th. I guess all we can do is pray for an earlier date.

Surgery has been postponed for a week. It will be either next Monday or Tuesday. To let Eden get over her cold. Just another hurdle to cross. The other option was to wait several weeks or months, but who know what she would pick up then. So for now we are living in a bubble just staying home for a week.

Thank you all for Fasting, and your prayers. Over 110 people confirmed on Facebook. We head up to Primary Children's in morning for labs, and a chest X-Ray. Then things should go forward Tuesday morning. Will keep updates on Facebook.

The Miracle of the Bile Duct

Well at least that's what I am calling it. So as you already know I had an MRI a few weeks ago which showed a narrowing in one of my bile ducts that they would need to use to create a new one for Eden. It appears that when I had my gall bladder out few years ago they did a cholangiogram and it was documented at the time that I had a narrowing then as well. Fast forward to Tuesday when I had my endoscopy which came out perfectly normal. The surgeon said he didn't know why my MRI showed a narrowing. My thinking is that there was some divine intervention going on. Again I am thankful for answered prayers.

So here are those pictures I promised.

Answered Prayers

Yesterday I had an endoscopy to take a closer look at my bile ducts since my MRI showed a possible narrowing in one of my ducts. If this were the case I would likely not be able to donate to Eden. So I spent the past week and a half since learning about this worried that we would need to find someone else to donate or wait for an offer, which would likely not come for some time. However, yesterday the prayers of many were answered and my endoscopy showed NO narrowings! Truely our Father in Heaven is mindful of our every need and hears and answers prayers.
Tomorrow I meet with the transplant surgeon for my surgical evaluation and than things should be a go for the week of the 26th. While this is all very nerve racking I am glad that things seem to be falling into place. Now my prayer is that no one gets sick in the mean time. Hand sanitizer here we come.
Mean while Eden has responded great to the TPN/lipids. She is getting chunky and almost on the growth curve. Woo hoo! I will have to get some good pictures of her thunderous thighs and chubby cheeks to post. Until then thank you for all of your love and support.
